SafeTouch® 24/7 Antimicrobial Print Protection

SafeTouch® is an antimicrobial coating which can be applied to all products printed at Oriel.
The silver technology, powered by Biomaster, has been successfully tested against over 50 common organisms such as MRSA, E.coli, Salmonella, Listeria, Campylobacter, and SARS-CoV-2 the virus that causes COVID-19.

SafeTouch® is designed to inhibit the growth of bacteria and fungi on substrates without affecting the colour or transparency. The technology is effective for the life of the coating, working 24 hours a day.

Unlike alcohol-based gels, disinfectants and oxidisers, SafeTouch® antimicrobial technology is effective 24/7 for the lifetime of the treated article whilst the coating is still intact. It could therefore complement current hygiene guidance offering additional product protection.

SafeTouch® branding may be used on all treated products to inform the user of the hygiene benefits whilst also increasing the perceived value of the product.
